Ease of Use:  

The Orbitz website doesn't have much information to wade through to find what you want—a good cruise at a great price. This makes the site easy to navigate.

Feature Set:  

Orbitz offers the bare minimum: specials, port of call information and a few articles on the Caribbean. This works well for seasoned travelers, but if this is your first cruise or your first time to the Caribbean, you may want more information on insurance and and shore excursions.

Search Capabilities:  

When searching for the ideal cruise, the Orbitz website can narrow your search by destination, duration, departure date, departure port, cruise line, star rating and ship. You can also sort and compare cruises by price, cruise line, ship rating, cruise destination, cruise length and specials. Orbitz's search tools are impressively versatile.

Ease of Booking:  

The booking process at Orbitz is fairly simple but requires more steps than some of the other sites we reviewed. While booking certain cruises the service prompted us to call customer service.

We enjoyed a unique feature that allows you to view a deck map while choosing your room-you can see exactly where your cabin will be on the ship.

Help/Support:  

Orbitz offers excellent customer support with email, a FAQs page, testimonials, and a toll-free customer service number. The Customer Service Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
